nanoimmunotech  is looking for a SALES MANAGER. We are looking for a driven and self-motivated person to be responsible for the growth and development of new diagnostic and commercial accounts. This position will involve contacting potential business prospects and maintaining good relationships with established customers.

  • Experienced in selling to diagnostic and commercial accounts within the Biotech sector, including Key Account Management is a must.
  • Willing to travel globally.
  • Technical experience of final applications involving the use of conjugates: immunochemistry, blotting, flow cytometry, ELISA, biosensing...
  • Strong English communication (verbal/written). Additional languages will be appreciated.

Director of Operations (PhD)

nanoimmunotech is looking for a Director of Operations for their facilities in Zaragoza, to take a key role in our company. We are looking for a person that will be in charge of the Operations Department of the company in support of our rapidly expanding sales activities. The main Tasks and Responsibilities of this position are:     
  • Plan and control the budget of the Department of Operations.
  • Search and select new suppliers for current and new products of the company.
  • Negotiate licensing and/or supply contracts with suppliers, including, but not limited to, intellectual property issues, conditions of service, price, delivery , etc.
  • Control, optimize and seek subcontract’s alternatives involved in the manufacturing process of products.
  • Ensure the correct manufacture, storage and delivery of products and services, including the successful transfer of new developments from the RD Department (act as an interface between RD and Operations), the preparation of appropriate documentation (working instructions, operating procedures, quality controls, client reports, etc.) and, the determination of the most appropriate tests or quality controls for production, storageand shipping conditions, etc..
  • Provide for and propose in each case, the best options for the optimal production and delivery of products to customers, depending on the evolution of the growing needs of the company, including subcontracting to third parties, purchasing necessary equipment, opening of new production facilities, technical aspects involved, etc.
  • To be responsible for proposing and implementing actions to improve processes in terms of reproducibility and costs reduction in scale-up and production.
  • Be responsible for the placing on the market of products and services, transferring to the Department of Marketing/Sales the necessary information, etc.
  • Prepare budgets and define terms and conditions related to custom services requested by clients.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators best suited for all activities under his/her responsibility.
  • Manage all departmental records, including manufacture, quality control, inventory, etc.
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment.
      Training and other requirements
  • PhD required (Biochemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering).
  • Very good experience in equivalent positions with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical or cosmetic industry (preferably in companies producing antibodies or other biomolecules) .
  • Must have knowledge and experience in the implementation and management of quality systems (GMP, GLP, ISO9000, etc.).
  • Required experience working with monoclonal antibodies.
  • Experience in the study of protein stability and degradation profiles.
  • Experience in the development of comparative studies demonstrating compatibility/biosimilarity.
  • A broad knowledge of protein chemistry and methods of characterization and protein purification (HPLC/FPLC, reverse phase, ion exchange and gel filtration chromatography, mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis, ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry, etc. ) .
  • Experience in managing suppliers/partners at the international level is desirable. Including the United States, Europe and Asia.
  • Leadership and team management skills. Flexible. Organized. Team Player.
  • Extensive computer skills, especially Microsoft Access and Excel domain will be a plus.
  • Required : High level and fluency in English.
Biosensing Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity in our research laboratory. You will be part of a team that is developing novel biosensors, based on innovative nanobiosensing and bioconjugation technologies. Responsabilities  
  • Plan, design and perform research on our main biosensing projects, and the new projects that will come about it.
  • Literature mining and market analysis.
  • Statistically analyze, interpret, and report research findings.
  • Assist with development of writing and grant proposals.
  • Interact with other research staff and senior scientific staff to accomplish position requirements.
  •  You will probably have a Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physics or Chemical Engineering PhD (or related Chemistry or Biology field; or an equivalent combination of education/experience), with 2-5 years experience in a postdoctoral research-related occupation (industrial environment will be a plus.
  •  Qualifications should include strong expertise and hands-on experience in the field of nanotechnology.
Required Skills  
  •  You will have knowledge of the most important biosensing techniques, basically strong experience in optical and electrochemical biosensors and their final applications in different fields, such as clinical diagnosis and biomedicine, pharmaceutical and drug analysis, environmental monitoring, genetic analysis, production and analysis control in agro food industries, microbiology, veterinary, etc.
  •  Experience in chemistry, bioconjugation, sensing surface modification, chemical modification of biomolecules, development of immunoreagents and/or nanoparticle-based assays and particle characterization is required.
  • Ability to interact with a R/D team with diverse background.
  • Critical thinking and creativity.
  • Demonstrated research ability coupled with rigorous project planning and ability to execute strategy.
   Desired Skills 
  • Experience in cGMP manufactory will be highly valued.
  •  Experience in prototyping and material-to-device integration, as well as, device characterization and troubleshooting will be a plus.
   Soft Skills 
  • Hands-on attitude and an innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams are essential.
  • Creative and energetic professional who can work in a multidisciplinary environment using chemical approaches to design and develop chemistry and conjugation methods.
